Grain Rain — 谷雨 (Gǔyǔ)

Grain Rain (谷雨, Gǔyǔ) is the 6th of the 24 solar terms, at the Sun's ecliptic longitude of 30°. It is a mid-term (中氣): it falls in the middle of a BaZi month and does not change the month pillar.

Customs

“Grain rain” feeds the crops; traditionally the end of the frosts, the time for spring sowing and for picking the young spring tea. Customs: drinking spring tea, admiring peonies, praying for the fishing season on the coast.
