Autumn Equinox — 秋分 (Qiūfēn)
Autumn Equinox (秋分, Qiūfēn) is the 16th of the 24 solar terms, at the Sun's ecliptic longitude of 180°. It is a mid-term (中氣): it falls in the middle of a BaZi month and does not change the month pillar.
Customs
The autumn equinox: day and night are nearly equal once more. The Mid-Autumn Festival of the eighth lunar month usually falls near it, with mooncakes and a family dinner under the full moon; villages “tread the autumn” and offer the first fruits to the Moon.
